Additionally, Luke trained his own apprentices, which is another key component of becoming a master.

Several Jedi believed that Anakin Skywalker would bring balance to the Force, but Count Dooku may have seen himself as the Chosen One instead. It is possible that Dooku believed that he was destined to bring balance to the Force, and that Anakin was simply a tool to be used in that process. However, it is also possible that Dooku saw Anakin as a potential threat to his own plans and ambitions. Only Dooku knows for sure what his true intentions were.
Anakin was a Gray Jedi; the problem was that no one around him was interested in understanding what that meant. He was light and had the capacity for great heroics, but through his great passion—his love and his rage—he also had the capacity for darkness. Though he never fully fell to the dark side, Anakin’s path ultimately led him to his destruction.

A Jedi Master may not have more than one Padawan. This rule developed after the Old Sith Wars, as most ancient Masters such as Arca Jeth, Thon, Vodo-Siosk Baas, and Krynda Draay did not have to abide by it.
The three outliers mentioned above all have abnormally high midi-chlorian counts for Jedi, which is likely due to their genetics ( being children/descendants of Anakin Skywalker). This proves that midi-chlorians are not the only factor that determines a Jedi’s strength.
