It is with great sadness that we announce that Davis is stepping away from the sport of volleyball. A junior outside hitter, Davis transferred to Texas in December of 2019 after spending two seasons at Nebraska. Davis never suited up for the Longhorns, though. She was also not seen publicly with the volleyball team this fall. We wish Davis all the best in her future endeavors.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Elise Kersch. Elise was a beloved member of the Hardin Valley HS community and played for K2 VBC in Tennessee. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends during this difficult time.

Where is Callie Schwarzenbach transferring
Callie Schwarzenbach, a former Nebraska Husker, has transferred to Long Beach State. Schwarzenbach was a member of the Nebraska women’s gymnastics team from 2016-2018. She is a two-time All-American and was a member of the 2017 National Championship team. Schwarzenbach will have two years of eligibility remaining.

It is with great disappointment that we learned of Jordyn Poulter’s knee injury. Most of the USA Volleyball team are former NCAA standouts and Jordyn was one of our best. We wish her a speedy recovery.

The loss of Sophia Bruns has been devastating for her parents and the Ridgefield community. Her parents have made it their mission to prevent other families from going through the same pain. They are determined to raise awareness about teen suicide and to provide support for families who are struggling.
Deme Morales is a talented outside hitter for the Penn State volleyball team. Despite her short stature, she has been a key player for the team. This season, she was voted the Big Ten’s Preseason Player of the Year. Morales is a fierce competitor and her teammates look up to her as a leader.
