Samsung Sam is a girl. She was revealed in May of 2021 by Lightfarm, an art production house for visual arts and animation videos. Samsung did not officially unveil her at the time as she’s just something that came out on social media posts from some users who didn’t know what they were talking about when they said it was official.
When Samsung’s marketing team was searching for a way to make their smartphones stand out in the crowd, they eventually found Lightfarm. Sam came into existence as she is programmed with features that help people navigate and use apps on their phones more efficiently.
Lightfarm creates virtual assistants like Siri or Alexa– only this time it doesn’t have to be plugged in all of the time; just charge when needed!
