Ohio Japan is a vibrant cultural exchange organization located in Ohio, USA. Established in 2003, we are dedicated to promoting international understanding and friendship between the people of Japan and the United States. Our mission is to foster meaningful relationships among individuals and organizations of both countries through educational and cultural exchange. We seek to inform people about the unique cultures of both nations, as well as encouraging dialogue between citizens of different countries. Our activities range from language classes to cultural events, such as Japanese festivals, art exhibitions and cooking classes. We also provide assistance for students who wish to study abroad in Japan or the United States. Through these activities, Ohio Japan strives to promote mutual understanding and appreciation between Japanese and American cultures.Ohio and Japan are vastly different in terms of geography, culture, history, and language.
