Since then, Disney has been working to re-organize Hulu’s content in preparation for launching their own streaming service,Disney+, later this year.
One of the first changes they made was to remove all content from 21st Century Fox, including the shows Sons of Anarchy and Mayans MC. This is because Disney wants to keep all of their content on their own platform, and they see Hulu as a direct competitor to Disney+.
Sutter went on to say that he thinks Sons of Anarchy would have been a perfect fit for Disney+, but unfortunately it’s not up to him. He said that the cast and crew of Mayans MC are “disappointed” but they understand the decision.
We’ll have to wait and see what Disney+ has in store for us, but it looks like we won’t be seeing any more of Sons of Anarchy or Mayans MC.
