During the week, the Annex residents would wake up early and have a light breakfast. Then they would go to their respective hiding places and spend the day reading, writing, or doing other quiet activities. Anne would often use her free time to work on her diary.
Around noon, they would have a simple lunch, usually consisting of bread and cheese. In the afternoon, they would take a break from their hiding places and spend some time socializing with each other.
At dinner time, they would have a hot meal, often prepared by Mrs. Frank. Afterwards, they would spend some time relaxing and talking before going back to their hiding places for the night.
On Sundays, they would spend the day relaxing and spending time with each other. Anne would often use this time to catch up on her diary writing.
