We are sorry to hear about Jordyn Poulter’s injury and hope for a speedy recovery. Most of the players on the USA Volleyball team are former NCAA standouts and we are confident they will be able to step up in her absence.
The University of Wisconsin released a statement on Oct 19 confirming that “private photos” of the Badgers’ women’s volleyball team had been circulating online “without consent,” prompting an investigation by the UW-Madison Police Department into “multiple crimes.”
This is a clear violation of the privacy of the women on the team, and it is unacceptable. We are pleased that the university is taking this matter seriously and investigating it fully.

The NCAA recently came under fire for suspending women’s tennis player Jessika Bramschreiber for 14 matches after she contacted an agent to explore her professional prospects overseas. Critics argue that the punishment is unfair on both a common sense and gender equality level. While the public support she received was welcomed, it didn’t make the suspension any easier to take.
It is with great sadness that we announce that Davis has decided to step away from the sport of volleyball. A talented junior outside hitter, Davis transferred to Texas in December of 2019 after spending two seasons at Nebraska. Although she never suited up for the Longhorns, she was a great asset to the team and will be greatly missed. We wish her all the best in her future endeavors.

We’re excited to announce that Lauren Barnes will be staying with OL Reign for at least the next two years! As our original and team captain, Lauren has been a key part of our success and we’re looking forward to continuing to build our team with her leadership.
Being on the bench and fighting for a starting spot was a new position for Sun and it was “really hard” at first. She said she took the starting job back by “just sticking with it, not losing hope in the player that I can be and how it can help this team on and off the court.
