In fact, I don’t like seeing Democratic lawmakers take a knee because when Shawn Carter jay-z Hove said in that NFL meeting. I was there I was in the meeting too, when he said in that NFL meeting with Roger, Goodell that the kneeling worked. He was right because the kneeling bought real awareness to an issue that people are taking action on now.
When Holmes said the kneeling worked now we are past kneeling and it’s time for action. This is the action, the action comes from changing laws, passing police reform that holds officers accountable for murdering black folks. Whenever they want to cap took a knee to get the attention of those kinds of lawmakers. Other players and people all around the world took a knee to get the attention of those kinds of lawmakers. We took a knee to get the attention of America and bring awareness to the real issue of police brutality. But the reason I don’t want to see the white people kneeling right now is that the need I got the attention of America. At this moment that knee wasn’t Colin Kaepernick’s. It was the knee of that murderer that thug that white devil, Derrick Shavon, or whatever the hell his name is.
That knee that was on the back of George Floyd’s neck that knee is what has laws changing right now. So when I see white folks kneel I don’t know if they’re peacefully protesting. The way Colin and a host of others did and still do all around the world. If they are mocking the death of George Floyd that’s just my personal opinion.
When I see white folks taking a knee now, I’m not sure if they are with us or against us all. I know is we need policy over pandering if we don’t nip this in the bud right now. Can you imagine what the House Democrats have planned for Juneteenth? You don’t want to see Nancy Pelosi in a Public Enemy shirt with a black fist out saying fight the power on Juneteenth.
You don’t want to see Chuck Schumer in a Jackie Robinson baseball jersey screaming out random quotes like all my life I had to fight. Do you really want to hear Kendrick Lamar coming from Capitol Hill on Juneteeth?
